Types of Marine Vessels

We provide service, maintenance and repair to systems on all types of vessels. We have worked on trailer boats, pleasure vessels, pilot boats, working boats, passenger ferries, superyachts, navy vessels, fishing boats, cargo ships and more.

Modifications

We can provide modifications to existing systems to better suit owners requirements. For example, your temperature control systems on an existing fridge system could be changed to give you more precise control over your refrigeration unit. We also provide different types of heat exchangers – air cooled, water cooled or a combination, depending on your requirements.

Freezetec mechanics have experience in air conditioning with both direct expansion systems (DX – self-contained, or split system air conditioning systems), and chilled water systems (tempered water – most often found on larger vessels).

Repair or Replace?

For units at the end of their lives we can offer you a range of options for revamp or replacement. We have the option to retrofit old off-engine systems to a modern 240v system run by inverter. With our custom made fast freeze plates or eutectic tanks, and a range of 12v/24v compressor systems, we can create a refrigeration kit to install in a current built in cabinet in your vessel. The options are only limited by your imagination!
